KCR likely to visit Kaghaznagar

Kumram Bheem Asifabad: Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao might tour Kaghaznagar town in the second week of April and attend a mass wedding besides addressing a public meeting, according to MLA Koneru Konappa.

Konappa told Telangana Today that Rao was most likely visit the town either on April 9 or 11. If the tour was finalised, the Chief Minister would address a public meeting and then bless 75 tribal pairs going to enter wedlock on the occasion, he said, adding that elaborate arrangements were being made in this regard.

It is learnt that Rao would also inaugurate an interstate bridge being constructed across Pranahita river at Gudem village of Chintalamanepalli mandal. The work reached the final stage. Superintendent of Police Kalmeshwar Shingenawar visited the site on Tuesday.

It may be recalled that State government on March 21 issued an order announcing a slew of incentives to JK Paper Limited, one of the leading paper manufacturing companies of the country that came forward to reopen and expand the sick Sirpur Paper Mills private limited by investing Rs 628 crore. The SPM was closed down on September 27 of 2014.
