Hyderabad: Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao will meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi at New Delhi on Friday to take up various issues pertaining to the State.
He will leave for New Delhi on Thursday afternoon by a special flight. The Chief Minister is expected to take up issues including amendments to the Presidential Order for implementation of the new zonal system in Telangana State.
He is likely to pursue the pending arrears from the Centre to Telangana State besides farmers’ issues. Further, he is also likely to take up issues like SC categorisation, Minority reservations as well as unfulfilled promises with regard to the bifurcation.
Chandrashekhar Rao met with Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh during his previous visit to New Delhi seeking amendments to the Presidential Orders on the new zonal system proposed by the State government.
