Mancherial: TRS president and Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao will be a kingmaker at the Centre if the party wins 16 MP seats, said Minister for Welfare Koppula Eshwar. He was speaking during the party’s campaign rallies in Mancherial, Bellampalli and Chennur Assembly constituencies. TRS candidate from Peddapalli parliament constituency Dr B Venkatesh Netha pledged his support to develop the coal belt region and address the problems of coal miners if he becomes a Member of Parliament. He was accompanied by Welfare Minister Koppula Eshwar and legislators N Diwakar Rao, Balka Suman and D Chinnaiah and MLC Laxman Naradasu.
Speaking on the occasion, the Minister sought electors to cast their votes in favour of Venkatesh Netha, who quit the post of Group I officer and ventured into politics. He said that TRS party’s Parliamentarians would raise voice seeking a waiver of Income Tax on salaries of coal miners, a long pending demand. He added that the MPs would fight for rights of Telangana and secure funds for developing the newly created State on many fronts. The Minister also recalled that the Chief Minister was committed to create jobs for locals in coal mines and other sectors. He stated that TRS-led government granted interest-free housing loans and was renovating residential quarters.
Balka Suman also requested the voters to extend their electoral support to the nominee of the TRS party in the coming Lok Sabha elections. He said that Venkatesh hails from a weaker section and was committed to serve the public and would strive hard for addressing long-standing challenges of the region. He asserted that the pink party would develop Telangana like never before. During the poll rallies, Vemanapalli ZPTC member Narsinga Rao and Sarpanches of several villages in Kannepalli mandals joined the TRS in presence of Koppula Eshwar.
