Hyderabad: Congress Legislature Party leader Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka on Wednesday was forced to suspend his ‘Save Democracy’ tour after suffering from a heatstroke.

Vikramarka has been admitted to KIMS hospital in Khammam for recuperation. He launched his tour on April 28 from Bhadrachalam demanding the immediate disqualification of 11 Congress MLAs who announced they were joining the TRS.

The tour is scheduled to cover all the Assembly constituencies from where the deserting Congress MLAs had won. Vikramarka was advised to take rest by the doctors and would resume his tour “to inform people that the MLAs they elected cheated on them by leaving the Congress,” according to party leaders.
