Khammam Collector lauds top scorers in SSC exams 

A group of fourteen students from Zilla Parishad, BC Welfare, ITDA and Social Welfare schools who scored 10/10 grade point average met the Collector at the District Collectorate late on Thursday evening.

Khammam: The District Collector RV Karnan appreciated the students of government schools in the district who scored 10/10 GPA in SSC examinations.

A group of fourteen students from Zilla Parishad, BC Welfare, ITDA and Social Welfare schools who scored 10/10 grade point average met the Collector at the District Collectorate late on Thursday evening.

The students were accompanied by their parents, District Education Officer Madanmohan and others. The Collector interacting with the students and parents congratulated them and asked the students to continue with the same spirit in their higher studies as well.

Education Officer informed that out of 251 government schools 48 schools achieved cent per cent results in the SSC. Similarly, Out of 161 private schools in Khammam district, 83 schools registered cent per cent results.

Collector Karnan lauded the efforts of teachers and the education department officials for the overall increase in the pass percentage and wanted them to focus on the schools that have not fared well in the SSC exams.
