Khammam students shine in International Karate Championship 

The students secured three gold medals, one silver medal and one bronze in the competition which saw participation from 10 countries, according to a press release.

The students of TSWR School Kallur, Khammam dist, have proved their mettle at the 23rd Asian International Karate championship 2018, held at Mumbai on 10th and 11th February.

Hyderabad: The students of TSWREIS School at Kallur in Khammam have proved their mettle at the 23rd Asian International Karate Championship 2018 held in Mumbai on February 10 and 11.

The students secured three gold medals, one silver medal and one bronze in the competition which saw participation from 10 countries, according to a press release.

TSWREIS secretary R S Praveen Kumar congratulated the winners and said that it is a matter of pride that the girls excelled in karate championship at international level.

“About 500 girls are trained in martial arts for self-defense. These girls in turn train their peers in their respective schools,” he remarked.
