Khammam: Telangana Academy for Skill and Knowledge (TASK) will focus on developing technologies to train graduates, said Shrikant Sinha, Academy Chief Executive Officer (CEO), on Wednesday.
He visited the TASK Khammam Regional Centre at VDO’s Colony, held a meeting with the officials and reviewed the functioning of the centre.
The CEO said this academic year they would focus on training graduates who complete their engineering, management, pharmacy and other degree courses with job skills and latest technology.
Sinha said the TASK which aimed to bridge the gap between industry and academia, was making sure youth were equipped with technology skills, personal skills, organisation skills along with English language skills.
In the past five years, the academy has trained numerous graduates in Telangana and helped them earn internship opportunities and gain lucrative employment in prominent firms. In doing so the TASK partnered with reputed technology organisations.
CEO Sinha hoped that with the active support of government and involvement of professional colleges the future of students in Telangana was going to be bright.
