Kiran Bedi asks Hyderabadis to sign petition against loudspeakers

Bedi called upon residents of Hyderabad to sign up a joint petition before the High Court here to seek strict compliance of SC orders on use of loudspeakers.

Hyderabad: Puducherry Lt. Governor Kiran Bedi has called for a ‘correction’ to the manner in which some religious organizations were using loudspeakers in Hyderabad.

In the city to attend an event at the Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel National Police Academy on Tuesday, Ms. Bedi took to Twitter on the issue, saying ‘competitive, faith based, loud speakers blaring heard in Hyderabad in complete violation and contempt of Supreme Court orders. Needs correction.’


She also called upon residents of Hyderabad to sign up a joint petition before the High Court here to seek strict compliance of SC orders on use of loudspeakers.
