Pranay who met the Minister on Tuesday, started writing for 100 wikidays and on 95th day he decided to continue writing for 365 days. His writing spree began on September 8, 2016 and came to an end on September 7, 2017.

Hyderabad: IT Minister K.T. Rama Rao appreciated Pranay Raj Vangari, a Telugu Wikipedia volunteer who created world record by writing one article per day for a year in Telugu Wikipedia.

Pranay who met the Minister on Tuesday, started writing for 100 wikidays and on 95th day he decided to continue writing for 365 days. His writing spree began on September 8, 2016 and came to an end on September 7, 2017.

Apart from writing, he also does theater shows depicting Telangana culture in rural areas of State. Pranay named his 365th article as ‘Wikiwatsara’ which majorly talked about Telangana culture. His articles between 101 to 200 came with a theme ‘100 Telangana Wiki Days’ which talked about Telangana prominence and the policies introduced by State government.

Similarly, his articles between 201 to 300 were about women and were called ‘100 women wiki days’. He was also congratulated by the Vice President Venkaiah Naidu through a tweet.
