Hyderabad: It’s a special feeling to see one’s own countrymen being adored in other countries. And IT Minister KT Rama Rao, currently on a business tour of Japan had one such moment on Thursday.

The minister, who is heading a team of officials from Telangana, is visiting Japan to promote economic partnership and explore potential collaborations to further engagement in ‘Urban Waste to Energy’ as well as the Smart Cities initiative, Hyderabad Metro Rail, clean energy, solar energy, electronic vehicles, IT and skill development programmes.

On Thursday, he took to Twitter with photographs of his visit to the Suzuki Museum at Hamamatsu. However, more than all the vintage vehicles, the current models and the assembly lines that he saw, what struck him was one picture on the walls there – that of Megastar Chiranjeevi!

Here is what KTR tweeted on the fan moment:

“Had a tour of the Suzuki museum at Hamamatsu in Shizuoka Prefecture. The tour was great, but guess whose picture I get to see there? Our own Mega Star Chiranjeevi Garu. Felt nice to see someone from our motherland being recognised in a small town in Japan.”

The tweet has since been drawing in likes and comments, both from regular followers of the Minister, and yes, from Chiru fans as well.

‘God of masses Megastar Chiranjeevi” wrote one, while another said ‘That is Telugu power…”.

“Megastar craze… Amalapuram ayina America ayina Japan ayina megastar craze…” wrote another fan.
