Land records purification almost complete in Wanaparthy

Wanaparthy: Around 98.3 per cent of land purification works in Wanaparthy district has been completed.

Printing of new passbooks would begin from February 14 and the printed passbooks would be issued to 1,76,214 pattadars across the district on March 11, the targeted date.

A total 5,74,741 survey numbers have been verified of which records were found not clear in 1,46,028 survey numbers to extent of 1,42,610 acres, which were all cleared during the land records purification exercise.

Around 16,524 acres of land, mostly disputed, would be cleared after achieving a consensus from all parties in dispute.

Similarly, 98.2 per cent of land record purification has been completed in Mahabubnagar, 99.6 per cent in Nagarkurnool and 96.19 per cent in Jogulamba Gadwal district.
