Hyderabad: The body of constable Tulasiram, who was killed in a road accident at Dindori in Madhya Pradesh two days ago, was brought to the city on Thursday.Cyberabad Police Commissioner VC Sajjanar and other senior police officials paid their last respects at the Mailardevpally police station where the body was kept for public viewing.
Tulasiram, a 2018 batch constable had gone to Madhya Pradesh in connection with investigation into a case of kidnapping registered in April. A man from Darbhanga in Bihar had allegedly kidnapped a minor girl and took her away to his native place.
Following a complaint made by the family members a case was registered and the suspect Roshan was traced to Bihar. A team comprising Sub-inspector Ravinder Naik, constable Tulasiram and woman constable Lalitha along with a family member of the girl and the driver had gone to Bihar. The man and the girl were traced and were being brought to the city.The three policemen, the couple, the driver and family member of the woman were coming in a Toyota Innova when it overturned after one of the tyres burst. Tulasiram, along with the suspect Roshan died in the accident.
A police team from the city reached Madhya Pradesh and with the help of the local police, shifted the body to the city on Thursday afternoon after necessary formalities.The body after being kept for public viewing, was shifted to Dharoor in Vikarabad, the native place of Tulasiram.The constable was married only a month ago and is survived by his wife and parents.
