Laxma Reddy inaugurates new classrooms, dining hall in Welfare School

Mahabubnagar: Health Minister Dr C Laxma Reddy inaugurated the newly constructed classrooms and dining hall at a cost of Rs 2.47 Crore at Telangana Social Welfare Residential School for Girls in Balanagar on Thursday.

On the occasion, the Minister interacted with students and found about the facilities available in the school and the kind of education being imparted to them.

Addressing the gathering, he said health and education were the most important aspects to measure the growth of a State and that Telangana was rapidly progressing on these two fronts.

He said KG to PG free education was the ultimate aim of Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao and that starting 500 Gurukuls across the State was part of that effort.
