Amaravati: Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu has said the proposed Lulu International shopping mall coming up in Visakhapatnam should be talk of the world with best global designing with priority given in the designing of the complex for a better sea view with unique underpass or overpass from the complex to beach.
Lulu International shopping mall and mega international convention hall is coming up in 13.83 acres of land in Visakhapatnam at a cost of Rs 1500 crore. The project components include mega commercial complex with 6 lakh sft, convention centre cum exhibition halls with 5000 seating capacity, 5 star hotel with 220 rooms and other supporting facilities.
The Lulu delegation led by Design international CEO Davide Padoa met the Chief Minister at the Secretariat on Friday and gave a presentation on the designs of the mega shopping mall.
After going through the presentation the Chief Minister said the Lulu international convention hall and shopping mall should be talk of the world with unique design. He asked the team to plan for 800 rooms with
5 to 7 star facilities. It should be an iconic structure and priority should be given to sea view from every point of the mega shopping mall, he said, and advised them to improve the designs to meet the expectations of people.
