Hyderabad: The day temperatures which slipped to 42 degree Celsius and below in the city in the last few days suddenly surged above 44 degree Celsius and brought scorching heat back on Saturday. According to Telangana State Development Planning Society, Madhapur recorded the highest day temperature today with 44.1 degree Celsius followed by Pashamylaram (43.5 degree Celsius) and Khairatabad (43.2 degree Celsius).
The average day temperature recorded by India Meteorological Department (IMD) at Begumpet on Saturday was 42.2 degree Celsius. Temperatures went up by almost one degree in a day i.e., 41.3 degree Celsius on Friday to 42.2 degree Celsius on Saturday.
The forecast also looks at Sunday turning out to be very hot in the city. According to IMD’s forecast, temperatures could be around 43 degree Celsius while night temperatures could settle at 30 degree Celsius tomorrow.
