Madhapur transforms into mini-India for GES

The famed IT corridor now wears a festive and colourful look and resembles a mini-India with colourful motifs and decorations all around.

Hyderabad: Madhapur, the ground zero of the upcoming Global Entrepreneurship Summit (GES), has undergone a complete makeover in the past few days.

The famed IT corridor now wears a festive and colourful look and resembles a mini-India with colourful motifs and decorations all around.

The authorities have literally pulled-out all stops to transform Madhapur. From complete restoration of roads, laying up of new footpaths, painted dividers and kerbs to swanky dustbins, flower pots on dividers, footpaths and lush lawns, the areas in and around the HICC, the venue of GES have been completely transformed.

The main attraction will surely be the artworks on the Gachibowli stadium flyover depicting birds that surely will grab attention of the visiting dignitaries. In fact, already, the motifs and designs have become quite an attraction for the regular commuters who cross the section.

Apart from art works on various flyovers in the city, the stretch leading towards Hitex is going to be a visual treat for entrepreneurs coming from various parts of the globe as trees and benches turned to be colourful.

Over 50 trees on both sides of the main road leading to HICC now sport beautiful artwork of animals, birds and earth designs.

In a view that GES delegates visit popular tourist spots in the city and hotels where they stay, stretches have gone to sport a rich look. On a ride to the IT corridor, one could find biggest makeover ever happened in the city which can now be called as a global city.
