Hyderabad: Madupu Bhumreddy on Monday took charge as the chairman of Telangana State Housing Corporation at Hyderabad.
Speaking on the occasion, Housing Minister Indrakaran Reddy said that Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao was very keen on the success of the double-bedroom housing project to ensure housing for the poor and hence appointed an able person like Bhumreddy as chairman of the State Housing Corporation which is the nodal agency for implementing the prestigious scheme. “We will coordinate with the officials and ensure speedy completion of the double bedroom houses,” the minister said.
Ministers Naini Narsimha Reddy and T Harish Rao said that the appointment of Bhumreddy as the chairman of the State Housing Corporation indicates the importance given to the party leaders who strive for the party and the people. The duo wished that Bhumreddy would play a vital role in speedy implementation of the double bedroom housing scheme.
Bhumreddy took charge in the presence of the ministers as well as Medak MP Prabhakar Rao, MLAs Madan Reddy, Marri Janardhan Reddy, and TRS party activists. Special chief secretary for Housing Chitra Ramachandran was also present. They all congratulated Bhum Reddy on assuming the new role.
