Wishes poured in from across the Telugu film industry as director Koratala Siva turned a year older on Monday. Prince Mahesh Babu took to his Twitter handle to wish him, “Wishing my dearest friend and a visionary director, @sivakoratala a very happy birthday !! Peace and happiness to you always.”
Having started his career as a dialogue writer, Koratala Siva made his debut as a director with the movie ‘Mirchi’ starring Rebel Star Prabhas in 2013. An outsider, Koratala quit his software job to venture into filmmaking to live his passion for cinema.
His place was cemented in the industry with Mahesh Babu’s blockbuster hit ‘Srimanthudu’ which earned him a name as well as theatrical success in 2016. Later, Jr NTR’s ‘Janatha Garage’ had grossed a whopping Rs 130 crore at the box office. He continued his success streak with political drama ‘Bharat Ane Nenu’ which was also a box office hit. Koratala is now working on his upcoming movie ‘Acharya’ starring Megastar Chiranjeevi and Kajal Agarwal.
Ram Charan shared a picture of him along with the director. The actor wrote on his Twitter handle, “His thirst for meaningful stories never ends !! A good humanitarian !! I wish you to keep entertaining us for many more years to come. Happy B’day.”
