Hyderabad: Health Minister Eatala Rajender on Thursday inaugurated Malla Reddy Cancer Hospital and Research Institute located in Suraram, Quthbullapur. The hospital will provide services in Medical Oncology, Surgical Oncology, Neuro Oncology, Hemato Oncology, Radiation Oncology and Nuclear Medicine.

The cancer facility is equipped with High Range Linear Accelerator, Minimally Invasive Brachytherapy, Most Advanced Radiation Therapy, PET-CT Diagnosis for accurate imaging and integrated analysis. “We have been waiting for this day since long time. We are extremely happy. We have intalled most advanced and high-end technology for accurate diagnosis and comprehensive treatment,” said Dr Bhadra Reddy, Managing Director of Malla Reddy Health City.

Hospital officials said that the medical team of the cancer hospital comprises well-experienced oncologists, qualified technicians, certified support staff and world-class equipment. Minister of Labour, Employment and Factories, Ch Malla Reddy, Vice Chancellor of Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences, Dr B Karunakar Reddy, Chairman, Malla Reddy Health City, Dr Ch Bhadra Reddy, Director, Malla Reddy Health City, Dr Preeti Reddy and senior TRS party leaders from Qutbullapur were present.
