Man commits suicide in train in Hyderabad

Hyderabad: A 40-year-man allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself in the Ajanta Express train.

According to the railway police, C Srinivasa Rao, 40, a resident of Bank Colony in Secunderabad, was found hanging in the bathroom of a coach of the Manmad – Secunderabad Ajanta Express. The train had pulled into the station around 9.40 am on Wednesday and the cleaning staff noticed the man hanging to the pipe in the bathroom of the train. They alerted the Secunderabad railway police who shifted the body to the Gandhi Hospital mortuary.

Railway Police head constable Nageshwar Rao, who had checked the body found an ATM card on the man. With the help of the ATM card, the police tracked down the address of the man and informed his family members. The police are trying to ascertain the reason behind the suicide.
