Man held for stealing rice bags in Hyderabad

Hyderabad: The Falaknuma police arrested a car driver for stealing rice bags from a truck on Thursday night. According to K Srinivasa Rao, Station House Officer, Falaknuma, the accused Bagara Janardhan (33) of Ram Nagar, stole 21 bags of rice from a truck parked near Andhra Bank in Shamsheergunj.

“Janardhan came to the Andhra Bank area a little after midnight on Thursday and spotted a truck with rice bags. He immediately shifted 21 bags weighing 50 kilograms each into his Bolero and transported them to his house,” said the Station House Officer. On information, the police caught him and recovered the property.
