Jogulamba Gadwal: The mystery behind the brutal murder of a man and a woman in broad daylight on the outskirts of Rajoli mandal was solved after the murderer surrendered to the police.

On Wednesday, Telugu Badesaab (40) and Shankaramma (45), both distant relatives and natives of Kurnool district, were hacked to death by unidentified assailants. It turned out that it was Shankaramma’s son Ramudu, who killed his mother, as she was having an extra-marital affair with Badesaab.

Three days ago, Shankaramma, along with Badesaab had come to Vaddepally mandal in Jogulamba Gadwal district to stay at her niece’s house. When her niece found out that Shankarama was in a relationship with Badesaab, she informed Ramudu about it.

On Wednesday evening, when Shankaramma and Badesaab were returning to Kurnool in an auto, Ramudu, who had come on a motorbike, was waiting on the outskirts of Rajoli mandal headquarters. He stopped the auto and indiscriminately attacked the couple with hunting sickle, killing them on the spot.

He then surrendered himself to the police in Kurnool district and confessed to the crime. Rajoli police have registered cases of murder against the accused.
