In the forthcoming Hollywood-Indian project Mosagallu, two talented actors Vishnu Manchu and Kajal Aggarwal are all set to share the bond of siblings on-screen. Telugu audiences got to see the right chemistry of on-screen pairs, but when it comes to projecting sibling bond on-screen, few actors come to mind. And, this is the first time that Kajal and Vishnu have come together for a project.
Kajal Aggarwal, known for her commitment to the roles she had played, went through a special workshop for Mosagallu. “Familial relations in Indian movies are rare when it comes to a leading actor or a female star playing siblings on-screen,” says a source close to the film. It’s rare to see hit lead actors pair up as siblings in movies, like Shah Rukh Khan and Aishwarya Rai in Josh, and in Telugu legendary actors NTR and Savitri and Sobhan Babu and Sridevi playing siblings on-screen.
The theme of Mosagallu is based on one of the biggest IT scams in history. The movie is currently under-post production. Bollywood actor Suniel Shetty, Ruhi Singh, Naveen Chandra and Navdeep are playing key roles. Jeffrey Gee Chin from Los Angeles is directing the movie. Talented Hollywood cinematographer Sheldon Chau is pushing his own limits for Mosagallu.
The film is being produced by Vishnu Manchu under 24 Frames Factor, in association with AVA Entertainment. Mosagallu was originally scheduled for a worldwide release this summer, but was postponed due to the pandemic-related lockdown. The revised release date is expected soon.
