Hyderabad: The students of Maulana Azad National Urdu University (MANUU) will get to view their evaluated answer scripts before announcement of the results.

The MANUU has introduced a student friendly examination reform to display answer scripts of students after evaluation and before declaration of results from the semester examination held in May 2019. By doing so, the MANUU has become first Central university in the country to bring in such reform.

The new system will be applicable to all the regular courses offered by the Central university across various campuses in the country.

Apart from displaying the answer scripts, discussions will be held on the answers written by candidates who show up and later results will be declared in less than 20 days from the date of completion of exams.

Through the new system, the students are given an opportunity to learn till the declaration of their results. After checking the valued answer scripts, students can discuss with their teachers as to where they need improvement, what their strengths and weakness were, what steps should they take to enhance their learning and so on, the university said.

The new system had been initiated to bring in transparency in examination and evaluation system, MANUU, Vice-Chancellor, Mohammad Aslam Parvaiz, said and added that the idea was to improve the learning experience of the students in the varsity.
