Hyderabad: Noted journalist Josy Joseph on Friday said there are still many good officials in the government departments, who help in exposing scams and save lot of public money.

“They have the courage and frequently handover important documents. Without their support, it is tough to expose scams. Investigative journalism is an extension of such good people,” said Joseph, while speaking at the Hyderabad Literary Festival here on Saturday.

Speaking about his book “India on Sale”, he said the book had different sections such as middlemen, aviation sector and others. “In our country, middlemen play a crucial role. Right from passports to big deals, they call the shots,” he said.

He revealed that a Tollywood director is planning to make a biopic on his life and achievements, particularly on exposing different scams.
