Warangal Urban: As many as 45 unemployed candidates have been selected for different job roles at a ‘mini job mela’ organised by the district employment office here on Thursday. While a total of 248 candidates registered their names for the mela, 98 of them have been preliminarily selected and 45 of them have been finally selected for the jobs, said district employment officer Manupati Mallaiah. A dozen companies participated in the job mela. Appointment letters have been handed over to the selected candidates on the spot. The jobs include pharmacist, pharmacy assistant, billing associate, sales executive, insurance advisor, financial advisor, branch relationship executive and others.
Speaking on the occasion, Mallaiah said that the candidates should utilise opportunities like this and shape their job careers. National Career Service (NCS) Young Professional Thatipamula Raghupathi has explained about the Centre’s NCS portal and urged the candidates to register their names at the portal to get the jobs. District Employment Officer Warangal Rural Madhavi and staff of the DEO office were present at the mela.
