Medak: Irrigation Minister, T Harish Rao is known for coming to the rescue of the people, who are in the serious need of the help in Medak district. The Minister has extended help to many individuals personally in the past.
In such one endeavour, Rao has extended help to Sinde Aksitha (7), a resident of Toopran in Medak district. She was born with a heart disease. The seven year old used to suffer with issues like breathlessness and insomnia since her birth.
Doctors have confirmed that performing of a surgery would be the only solution for the issue. Since Aksitha’s father, Sinde Chandram, a poor man, is not in a position to bear the expenses of the treatment, the parents had written a letter to Chief Minister, K Chandrashekhar Rao seeking his help.
The letter was widely circulated in the social networking sites, which some people had brought to the notice of Minister, Harish Rao. Rao had invited the parents of Aksitha, who was undergoing treatment in Niloufer Hospital in Hyderabad, to his home in Hyderabad and assured them to bear the expenses Aksitha’s surgery after examining the medical reports.
He has immediately asked the concerned officials to shift her to Care hospital in Hyderabad for surgery. The treatment had begun on her during the third week of August. Rao has ensured the payment of Rs 4 lakh towards Aksitha’s treatment under Chief Ministers Relief Fund (CMRF).
The girl was discharged from the hospital on Saturday evening. Chandram has thanked the Minister for his quick response.”Harish Rao saved the life of our little angel, he hailed.
