Mock fire safety drill held in Hyderabad’s IMAX theatre

Hyderabad: On the second day of Fire Services Week, Secretariat Fire Station personnel conducted a drill to create awareness among public on tackling emergency situations at IMAX theatre, Necklace Road, here on Sunday.

According to Station Fire Officer, Secretariat, K Venkat Nagendra, demonstrations on fire safety measures, fire prevention and fire operations were held during the mock drill.

“Pamphlets covering topics — fire prevention and fire safety measures — were distributed to people. Discussions on common fire hazard in industries, commercial, office complexes, schools and residential premises were held,” he said.

Apart from that, the fire personnel also explained the capacities of the fire tenders and mist-bullets, he added.

A team comprising of 10 fire personnel participated in this programme.
