Hyderabad: Monetary aid to kin of policeman

Rachakonda Police Commissioner Mahesh Bhagwat handing over the cheques to Syed Munawar’s family

Hyderabad: Rachakonda Police Commissioner Mahesh M Bhagwat on Monday handed over Rs 7.9 lakh as monetary help to the kin of Syed Munawar, an Armed Reserve Head Constable, who died in a road accident. Munawar’s family had met the Police Commissioner in his office at Neredmet.

While Rs 3.90 lakh cheque was handed over to Munawar’s wife Tanveer, cheques of Rs 2 lakh each were handed over to his children, Syed Muzaffar and Arshiya.

Syed Munwar, who was posted at the City Armed Reserve Headquarters in Amberpet was killed in a road accident in 2018. He was on his way to work when the mishap occurred.
