Mahabubnagar: Health Minister C Laxma Reddy on Wednesday said that the State government was going to introduce new schemes and reforms soon, especially with regard to starting farmer insurance coverage of Rs 5 lakh with the government itself paying the premium on behalf of the farmers.
Addressing a gathering at the Rythu Bandhu cheques and pattadar passbooks distribution programme held at Moti Ghanpur village in Balanagar mandal on Wednesday, he said that soon the registration of land would be done in mandal offices itself and that the changes would be made to the registration process as well. With the necessary changes, farmers wouldn’t have to make rounds to the registration offices, he felt.
“Only to pull farmers out of debt and suicides Rythu Bandhu scheme is introduced. This is one of the best schemes introduced by Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao and this was done to realize the dream of creating a Rama Rajya. The credit for setting-up of farmers’ coordination committees and uniting the farmers will also go to CM KCR,” he said.
