In addition to the hangover, alcohol consumption also affects the liver. The two-year-old company is part of a 10-year-old group called Healthline and has a unit in Bengaluru with a production capacity of making Rs 50 crore worth of beverages per year. The beverage that is available across bars, supermarkets, liquor stores and pharma outlets has already sold 10,000 units in only Bengaluru in the last one year. Currently, the beverage is available in Bengaluru, Chennai and Mumbai apart from Hyderabad and the company plans to enter Pune, Delhi, Kolkata and Goa in the next six to eight months.

“By the end of this year, we are aiming for sales worth Rs 3-5 crore and in the next five years we are looking at sales of Rs 25 crore. The product is available in over 100 outlets and in the next 2-3 months we will be present in over 1,000 outlets in the city,” said Tandon.
