Myanmar national held in Hyderabad for obtaining Aadhaar

Hyderabad: The Hyderabad Commissioner’s Task Force (South) on Tuesday caught a Myanmar national for allegedly obtaining an Aadhaar card through fraudulent means. According to the police, Mohammed Qadeer (37), staying in Kishanbagh of the old city, had obtained the document with the help of a Mee Seva agent and was using it to avail benefits extended by the State government for BPL families.

He was detained based on information provided by a few persons who were earlier arrested for acquiring Aadhar cards, voter ID cards and other documents through similar methods. Qadeer was handed over to Bahadurpura police for further action.
