Naidu to visit Paderu on August 9

Paderu: All arrangements are being made for the visit of Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu to this place in Visakhapatnam agency region to participate in the World Adivasi Day celebrations on Thursday, according to District Collector Pravin Kumar.

Reviewing the arrangements along with Joint Collector G. Srujana, ITDA Project Officer D.K.Balaji and others on Tuesday, he said that the event should be celebrated as a state festival.

He first visited the public meeting venue of local junior college grounds, and later Adarimetta village and visited the Modakondamma temple on the day.

Talking to reporters here, he said that the Chief Minister would attend Grama Darsini programme in Adarimetta village and address people of eight villages in the Chintalaveedhi panchayat limits.

“The Chief Minister will arrive in a procession from Adarimetta village to Ambedkar Junction in Paderu town. He will have darshan of Sri Modakoondamma at the temple and participate in the adivasi Day celebrations from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.,” he said.

The Collector also said that the programme would be held notwithstanding the rain threat.
