These days, the trend of making films into bilinguals and multilinguals has become the norm. But, actor Nani says he would rather focus on a Telugu film, instead of a bilingual.
“I find it comfortable to work in a single language film. I’m not really keen about working on multiple language films. For me, Telugu States will suffice. I did a bilingual once, and decided never to repeat it again.
Of course, if somebody has a good script with elements that match the tastes of the audiences in both languages, then I am open to it. Just for the sake of money, I will not entertain a bilingual,” said Nani. He is also very happy with the success of Jersey.
“I was extremely happy with Jersey. It was meant to be an experiment which went beyond the boundaries of Telugu cinema. Now it is being remade in almost all languages. It is going to be released in China also. What else do I need?” said Nani.
Now he is on the tour for pre-release campaign for Gang Leader which is slated for release on September 13. He, however chose not to compare his forthcoming film Gang Leader to Manam. But, he did say that he hoped his new film will feature in the list of one of his best films till date.
