Hyderabad: Infrastructure company NCC Limited reported a net profit of Rs 72.27 crore on a consolidated basis for the June Quarter as against Rs 102.16 crore during the same period last year, registering a decline of 29.26 per cent. Its revenues were Rs 2,371.52 crore during the quarter against Rs 2,530.81 crore last year. Sales declined 6.61 per cent to Rs 2,346.98 crore in the quarter ended June 2019 as against Rs 2,513.13 crore during the previous quarter ended June 2018.
On a standalone basis, its profit for the quarter was Rs 81.3 crore, down from Rs 103.67 crore last year. Its revenues were Rs 2,212.7 crore as against Rs 2,389 crore last year.
The Hyderabad-based construction firm achieved a turnover of Rs 2,212.70 crore in the first quarter as against Rs 2,389.14 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous year, a decrease of 7 per cent on year-on-year basis.
The company secured orders worth Rs 636 crore during the quarter and the total order book stood at Rs 33,495 crore at the end of the first quarter, said its managing director AAV Ranga Raju in a press release.
