Nirmal: Minister for Endowments, Environment and Forest Allola Indrarakan Reddy said that TRS government was granting funds for the development of villages on many fronts. He was speaking after felicitating newly elected Sarpanchs at a programme held in his camp office at Shashtrinagar in Nirmal on Sunday.
Reddy suggested the heads of village administration to create basic amenities by utilising resources. He told them to understand newly introduced Panchayati Raj Act. He said that the government was ready to sanction enough funds for the growth of rural civic bodies. He asked them to be accessible to the public.
TRS State Secretary Sathyanarayana Goud, Nirmal district in-charge Vittal Rao, former Nirmal MLA N Indrakaran Reddy, district library corporation chairman E Rajender, Agriculture Market Committee chairman D Rajender, and leaders of the party were present.
