Nizamabad: Nizamabad Government General Hospital superintendent Dr Nageshwar Rao on Monday resigned from his post owning moral responsibility for transportation of a Covid-19 victim’s body in an autorickshaw on Sunday.
He said he was also unhappy with the four Covid-19 deaths in the hospital in the past four days. Dr Nageshwar Rao sent his resignation to the Director of Medical Education (DME), stating that he was unable to prevent these ‘unfortunate’ incidents and owned moral responsibility for them.
Following his resignation, Dr. Nageshwara Rao released an audio to the media explaining the reasons for his quitting the job on Monday morning.
