Nizamabad: Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao’s dream of making villages clean and green resulted in the ‘Palle Pragathi’ and second phase of the programme is being implemented now, said Housing and R&B Minister Prashanth Reddy here on Tuesday.

The Minister participated in the second phase of ‘Palle Pragathi’ programme at Velpur mandal headquarters and distributed the tractors to various villagers of Velpur mandal.

Reddy said Rao’s idea was to improve conditions in villages. In first phase of ‘Palle Pragathi’ programme, villagers worked with unity and strove for the betterment of village.

He said the programme was one of the most successful programmes, which changed the appearance of villages. In Velpur mandal tractors were sanctioned to 15 gram panchayats.
