Nizamabad Zilla Parishad general body meeting postponed

Nizamabad: Nizamabad Zilla Parishad general body meeting was postponed again due to lack of sufficient quorum. Zilla Parishad Chairman D Raju on Friday announced postponement of the meeting as only 10 members were present out of 58.

On the occasion of Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao’s 63th birthday celebrations Raju and members cut a cake and celebrated CM’s birthday. After that ZP Chairman Raju said according to Panchayatiraj Act Zilla Parishad meeting should be conducted every three months.

Of 58 members two-third members should attend the meeting, but only 10 members attended the meeting. Kamareddy District Collector Dr Satyanarayana, Nizamabad JC Ravider Reddy, and ZP CEO Govind participated in the meeting.
