Hyderabad: Hyderabad-based mineral producer National Mineral Development Corporation (NMDC) has been awarded the ‘Golden Peacock Corporate Ethics Award (Global & National)’ for the year 2017.
The award was presented by Jawed Ashraf, High Commissioner of India to Singapore and Karan Singh Thakral, Ambassador of Singapore to Denmark. On behalf of NMDC, the award was received by PK Satpathy, director (Production), NMDC and CE Kindo, ED, NMDC at the second Global Convention on Corporate Ethics and Risk Management held in Singapore.
Speaking on the occasion, PK Satpathy director (Production), said, “NMDC has always believed that maintaining an ethical culture in an organisation is always a motivation to the employees. This recognition is an example of high moral and ethical culture which is nurtured at all the levels of NMDC.”
Further CE Kindo, ED, NMDC has presented the success story of NMDC in the field of corporate ethics and how NMDC improved year on year in this aspect.
