Office bearers of Jubilee Hills cooperative housing building society booked

The case was booked following a complaint made by P Ramakrishna Reddy for endangering human life by blasting rocks during construction activity

Hyderabad: The Jubilee Hills police booked a case against the president of Jubilee Hills cooperative housing building society, its secretary and two others for allegedly endangering human life by blasting rocks during construction activity.

The case was booked following a complaint made by P Ramakrishna Reddy, a resident of the colony who said that on Thursday the president and secretary of the society along with the Ch Sirisha who owns a plot had used explosives to blast rocks in a plot adjacent to his house. He had also named the contractor who is taking up the construction work.

“Due to the use of the explosives a big boulder fell on my house damaging the living room and a pillar. The explosives were used without obtaining necessary permission from the authorities and without taking precautions resulting in the damages,” S Naveen Reddy, sub inspector Jubilee Hills said quoting the complainant.

Based on a complaint the police booked a case under Section 336, 287 and 427 r/w 34 against them and took up the investigation.
