One more Telangana NRI dies of Covid-19 in Makkah

33-year old Mohammed Amar, a native of Korutla town in Jagtial district, was working as a technician in a maintenance company that was engaged in a leading hospital in Makkah for the last 13 years.

Jeddah: Another Telangana NRI worker, who was battling for his life for the last few days, succumbed to covid-19 on Wednesday in Saudi Arabia. This is the second death of a person from Telangana State in holy city of Makkah. With this, the death toll of Indians in oil rich Kingdom reached 18 on Thursday.

33-year old Mohammed Amar, a native of Korutla town in Jagtial district, was working as a technician in a maintenance company that was engaged in a leading hospital in Makkah for the last 13 years. He was infected with the virus and was admitted to hospital a week ago. When his health condition deteriorated, he was rushed to a leading specialized hospital where he succumbed to the disease on Wednesday, according to sources.

This is the third Covid-19 death of Telangana NRI in Saudi Arabia, with the earlier two hailing from Nizamabad and Hyderabad. All three deceased were technicians working in different maintenance companies in Saudi Arabia.
