Colorado State University (CSU) is a great choice with an impressive pedigree.  The University dates back to 1870 and the campus encompasses over two million square meters and is home to 27,500 students, including 4,580 graduate students where a student can earn a prestigious degree from a Carnegie Class I research institution with annual research expenditures of over $308 million.

With three campuses and each with very distinct roles and missions, the Colorado State University campuses serve the state, region, country, and the world, educating over 40,000 new and returning scholars annually.   Highly-skilled graduates number more than 6,800 a year, and more than 200,000 alumni live around the globe. The CSU System involves a total operating budget of $1.06 billion, with annual research expenditures totaling more than $340 million.

CSU boasts of top-ranked business, veterinary medicine, and journalism schools, as well as groundbreaking research in atmospheric sciences, infectious diseases, and clean energy technologies. In addition, the CSU Extension offices, in 60 of the 64 counties in the state, offer community-oriented education, research, and 4-H programs.

The student-faculty ratio at Colorado State University is 16:1, and the school has 26.5 percent of its classes with fewer than 20 students.

The CSU Career Center is a great place to start the search that helps a student find internships through their extensive job listings on CareerRAM. The CSU Career Center also helps a student prepare and edit the resume and cover letter and provides scheduled times during which students can participate in practice interviews.
