Hyderabad: A small group of passengers numbering around 12 staged a protest at the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (RGIA) in Shamshabad here on Saturday, alleging that they were not allowed onboard a flight.

According to Airport sources, the passengers could not board an Indigo flight to Visakhapatnam after they failed to turn up when boarding was announced this morning.

The passengers staged the protest after the flight left without them at 6.45 a.m. It is said that the passengers, all from one group, were in the airport itself and did not hear the boarding announcements.
