Patriotic slogans echo in Bhadradri Kothagudem

Bhadrachalam (Kothagudem): Streets of Bhadrachalam town on Monday reverberated with patriotic slogans by hundreds of students, public and officials who paid fitting tributes to Pulwama terrorist attack martyrs.

A huge rally was organised to condemn the attack on CRPF jawans in Pulwama district of Jammu and Kashmir and pay homage to martyred soldiers.

The rally which began at CRPF camp office on Kunavaram road reached Ambedkar Centre where a massive human chain was formed to pay homage to martyrs.

About 5,000 people including 2,000 students, 100 CRPF jawans of 141Bn, officials and personnel from police, fire, forest, excise and other departments, members of NGOs took part in the rally.

Bhadrachalam MLA Podem Veeraiah, CRPF 141 Bn. Commandant Manoj, Deputy commandant Kiran Kumar, Bhadrachalam ASP Sangram Singh Patil, CI Satyaranarana Reddy and other officials joined the rally.

“The CRPF is one force which is engaged in diverse fields such as fighting insurgency on the borders in J&K and Left wing extremism for the safety and freedom of people. The sacrifice and contribution made to the country by the force is immense,” ASP Patil noted.

The rally was organised to show that the country was with them and their sacrifices were remembered and valued, he said adding the loss suffered by the martyr’s families was a loss for the country too.

In Khammam city a massive auto-rickshaw rally from SR&BGNR College to ZP Centre was organised by TRSKV activists. Local MLA P Ajay Kumar took part in the rally and offered homage to Pulwama martyrs.
