Hyderabad: One more promise made by Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao will be a reality now with the rolling out of pension for single women and beedi workers from Sunday. Though the promise was not mentioned in the TRS manifesto, it was Chief Minister’s brainchild who wanted to include the single women and beedi workers in the Aasara pension scheme so as to give much-needed helping hand. The State government has decided to give Rs 1,000 Aasara pension per month to single women as well as beedi workers.
