Hyderabad: Aranya Agricultural Alternatives, a city-based environmental and developmental NGO, International Permaculture Convergence Council (IPCC) and Friends of IPC (FIPC) will be hosting the 13th International Permaculture Convergence (IPC) here from November 27 to December 2.
The theme of the event will be ‘Towards Healthy Societies’ and is expected to attract more than 1,200 participants from across the globe, according to a press release.
The primary objective of IPC 2017 is to provide Indian farmers with an opportunity to get inspired and learn how their current challenges could be solved using permaculture principles via various permaculture experts across the globe. To meet this objective the IPC team is hosting a crowdfunding activity on the website — www.milaap.org starting May 3 to July 1, the release said.
By achieving the target to collect funds of Rs 10 lakh, the team will be capable of organising travel and accommodation for farmers from different countries to in the city, it added. More about the event can be checked at the website — www.ipcindia2017.org.
