Ph.D awarded to KITS-Warangal faculty member

Warangal Urban: Rajendar Gogu, an Associate Professor in the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE), at Kakatiya Institute of Technology & Science, Warangal (KITSW), was awarded a Ph.D degree by JNTU Hyderabad (JNTUH).

In a press note here on Thursday, Principal Prof K Ashoka Reddy said that Rajendar had submitted his thesis titled “Improvement of Voltage Stability Using L-Index Sensitivity Matrix”. He carried out his research under the supervision of Dr Basavaraja Banakara, Registrar, Davanagere University, Karnataka.

In his research work, a new method L-index sensitivity matrix was proposed which is used to develop an algorithm to place reactive compensation devices for improving the system stability for both transmission and distribution systems.  MP (Rajya Sabha) and KITSW Secretary & Correspondent Capt V Lakshmikantha Rao and Treasurer P Narayana Reddy have congratulated him for doing a more applicable society needed research in the field of Electrical and Electronics Engineering. Dean P & E Prof L Sudheer Reddy, HoD EEE Prof C Venkatesh, PRO Dr D Prabhakara Chary and others have also congratulated him on being awarded Ph.D. degree.
