Hyderabad: PharmaLytica, the two-day global trade show and conference, began on Friday to showcase analytical tools that are used in pharma industry.
Yogesh Mudras, managing director of UBM India, which is orgainising the event, said the event will enable the pharmaceutical industry to look at the new analytical and laboratory tools, machinery and packaging available.
The expo will expand its reach into the Western region by hosting PharmaLytica for the first time in Mumbai in 2019, he said.
Dr. Preeti Meena, Director, Drugs Control Administration inaugurated the event. Pharmaceuticals Export Promotion Council Director General R Uday Bhaskar, Director General Emeritus PV Appaji, Dr Reddy’s Laboratories Global Sourcing (Strategic and Plant) Director and Head Avinash Talwar and Interlink Marketing Consultancy Managing Director RB Smarta were present.
About 150 exhibitors including Kirloskar, Standard Group of Companies, Borosil Glass Works, Bry-Air Asia, Rotomark Innovations, Control Print, Gandhi Automation, Leistung Engineering, Mack Pharmatech, Domino Printech, Autocal Solutions, FLIR Systems, Helios Concrew, Kirloskar Pneumatics, S.K. Pharma Machinery, NPM Machinery, Goel Scientific, GMM Pfaudler, ELGI Equipments, First Source Lab, Apex Chromatography, Valfit Engineers, Integrated Cleanroom Technology, Dumra Machines, Sigma Scientific Glass, are participating in the event.
The event is supported by Pharmexcil, Confederation of Indian Pharmaceutical Industry (CiPi) and the Indian Drug Manufacturers’ Association (IDMA).
