Hyderabad: A photographer died under suspicious circumstances at his house in Langer Houz on Saturday night.

According to the police, Srikanth Reddy, along with his wife Renuka, a native of Bhongir, was staying at Defence Colony in Langer Houz.

However, for the last few months Renuka went to her parent’s place, as Srikanth started coming home in inebriated condition and frequently picking quarrels with her.

On Saturday, the house owner of Srikanth found that the latter had not come out of the house since evening and knocked the door to check. “When Srikanth did not respond, they informed about it to police who came to the house and broke the door. On inspection of the house Srikanth was found dead,” said M Ramu Sub Inspector, Langer Houz police station.

The family members informed the police that Srikanth was consuming more alcohol in the last few weeks and might have died under its influence.

Based on the complaint from the family, the police registered a case and took up investigation.
